Happy New Year!

HNY everyone! I am loving 2008 so far.

I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about a new year. 2007 was good to me, but I’m thinking that ‘08 will be even better.

Last new year’s, I was in fairly sever pain with my back and pretty hopeless about what to do about it. After a year of regular swimming, this problem has become no more than an occasional discomfort. I can hardly believe the difference. The whole experience made me realise how extremely important exercise is in our lives, and I will never go for an extended period without it again.

And even though I was only doing it for my ailing back, there was also a bonus thrown in of some much-needed toning up.

This was also the year that I happened upon the trials for the new oral medication for MS. I cannot believe how much my health has improved, between the physical exercise and the medication. I could elaborate on this for pages, and probably will during the course of the year, but for now suffice it to say that I am astounded at the things I can do now which were nothing but a pipe-dream over the past couple of years.

Any regular reader of this blog will know that I am BIG on New Years’s resolutions. In fact, I like ‘em so much I usually make mid-year resolutions, too. Some melt away before the first week of the year is out, and others I follow to the letter.

I have some huge resolutions this year. In the same vein as previous years, but only bigger and better. Soome of them are so recurring that I feel almost embarassed to put them on this ‘ere blog. So I decided I’d rather give myself a month to get started on them before I start blathering on too much. Almost like a head start, in which I can see which one’s stick it out, lol.

It’s such a major revamp. I’m nothing if not ambitious with my resolutions ;-)

I hope this is a great year for all of you, and thanks so much for the support and great comments this past year.

I’m going to try ancd be a more consistent and less lethargic blogger this year, hehe. Thing is, I could never give up blogging for good, I’d miss it too much…
