Blogging Bunny-style

with one comment

I do apologise for the messiness of my last post. Whenever I copy and paste anything from Word, then it messes up the html something terrible. And the worst is, even if I spend time fixing it after it’s been published, it still sends the first published version to Google-reader (or any other feed-reader, I should imagine.

So just know that I actually did originally put decent punctuation in the book excerpt. For some reason when I published it, it took away all the punctuation. And it made the font size different for different paragraphs. So annoying. And I don’t have the inclination to sit and try and sort it out.

Note to self: Don’t copy and paste from Word again.

  1. Hello,

MS word totally butchers formatting, and adds LOADS and LOADS of script etc, so a tip if you do cut and paste add and extra middle step and paste into notepad, which will only capture the text. then cut from notepad and paste in your blog editor and hey presto just the text part and you can format how YOU wish to.

Alternately paste into the blog editor in the code view where you can see the code tags, and then only the text will paste too. You’ll be amazed what crap posts with it if you post in the WYSIWYG view and then flip to the code view…

    Hope that makes sense!
