Stupidity is not a handicap. Park elsewhere!

with 5 comments

…that about sums it up, people.

I wonder if I shouldn’t start a campaign. Have a couple of hundred stickers printed, bearing the above legend, and hand them out to the general public with instruction to stick them on cars driven by able-bodied people that park in disabled bays. Wouldn’t that be a hoot?

They all have the same excuse (except those that plead ignorance) – I just wanted to go in quickly and grab something.

Well, asshole,  maybe a disabled person just wanted to go in at all!

Really!

  1. My ex (eeeuw hate that term) is not very tactful and would go up to people who had parked in handicapped zones and say things like – ‘if you weren’t so lazy you wouldn’t be so FAT’.

I was horrified, but I think it makes people think, once their jaws come back from their trip to the floor 😉

  2. Well, ra ra for your ex, Jane, lol. He obviously had some redeeming qualities. Some things just need to be said, and in such a way that the cretins understand it!

  3. I have been tempted to print up bumper stickers that say “stupidity is my handicap” and then put them on the unmarked cars that park in those spaces.

  5. Oh I couldn’t agree with you more! WE MUST make some. I’ll be first in line putting them on cars.
