Today has pretty much been the ideal Saturday.
Sleeping late, after a very pleasantly late night.
Going to the gym (first time in yonks! It’s nice not to have the guilt for five minutes, hehe) Took out a gym membership beginning of the year and haven’t been there too much, since. I’m losing such a lot of face here – Michael is fairly unimpressed.
Nice healthy lunch – rice, chicken, steamed sweet potato, cabbage and carrots. No guilt there either, hehe. (Haven’t been eating that nutriciously this week, so have to make up for it a bit).
Taking the poochies for a walk. (Michael remarked recently that he has come to need these daily walks just as much as the dogs do. I agree with him. It is fabulous and we all get some fresh air and exercise.)
Going to watch the rugby at my parents’ house this afternoon/ evening. My dad phoned and invited us. Gonna be fun. (We will be making up for our healthy lunch by pigging out on snacks, like we always do.)
This is what I call quite a nice line-up for a restful Saturday.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go and attend to the lunch, which is not smelling half bad, considering how healthy it is, lol.
