PEP stores – low prices for the people

with 2 comments

I love shopping at PEP stores. They used to be a store that catered for the extremely low-income group, but with a compromise in quality.

Now, while still being affordable, their stuff is of a much better quality, comparable to much more expensive stores.

I was able to buy myself this polar-fleece top last week without blowing my budget at all. (And I hadn’t intended buying any clothes this month).

I got this in the red and a nice plum colour for R79 each. Bargain. I also got a pair of takkies for R69, which I am frankly quite thrilled about, because they look and feel exactly like their predecessors at a third of the price.

The rush of a mini-shopping spree without the accompanying guilt. *like*

PS The photo is a bit dodgy, because the cellphone camera doesn’t take brilliant photo’s at night. Especially when I can’t be bothered to put it on the ‘night’ setting. Also, the pink undershirt wasn’t supposed to show. Just pretend you didn’t see it 🙂
